Reflecting on five years in business
It is hard to believe that five years have passed since we established Howl Resources. In 2019, I took a leap of faith, leaving Airswift in Houston, Texas, where I had an amazing career alongside a fantastic team. With that bold decision, we packed up our lives and returned to the UK, ready to begin what has become an exciting journey.
We started with a clear vision of being a true value-partner to clients and candidates alike, leveraging many years of experience supporting industrial businesses across multiple sectors and geographies. Offering full accountability across our services including retained search, engaged search, campaigns, benchmarking studies and competitor analysis, we have had the privilege to support our clients through growth, M&A, DE&I, rationalisation, sustainability and globalisation strategies.
Starting your own business often feels like stepping into the unknown. There is the excitement of building something new, yes, but this is offset with uncertainty. For Kerry and I, the move back home was not just about creating a business—it was about being close to family and friends. Their support made all the difference, helping us adjust and keep moving forward.
Over the course of the next few weeks, we will be sharing stories of some of the key projects delivered and reflecting on the lessons learned along the way. I will also share insights from our candidates and clients—people who have been instrumental in shaping Howl Resources into what it is today.
